 League City Cougars go all the Way

7 boys come together to represent League City in Division II TAAF State Tournament. Team member are:

Jake Chatman
Gavin Roland
John Jolly Jr.
Zach Word
Sean Smith
Eric Anderson
Demetrius Gladney

The student/athletes played City basketball this past Winter then were put together to participate in Regional's March 1st in Texas City. The tournament was a sweep for the "League City Cougars" without giving up more than 9 points per game. State tournament was in College Station March 15th. The Cougars again swept the tournament and also beat last years Champion. Last year the Cougars placed 3rd, so this year they did so much better. The student/athletes were awarded gold medals and now qualify for Nationals in Tennessee in July. Coaches are John Jolly and Robert Roland.
