Village Fair and Texas Musical Festival Friday, May 9 – Sunday, May 11 – League City

54 years and still going strong! The League City Lions Club is very proud to present the 2008 Village Fair and Texas Musical Festival; Friday, May 9 through Sunday, May 11. The fair will be held at Walter Hall Park in League City, off Highway 3 between NASA Parkway and FM 518.

This festival is filled with fun and activities for the entire family. The music festival highlights include The Grateful Gizzers, 98 in the Shade, and Overdrive on Friday night. Then the music starts up again on Saturday at 11am with the League City concert band. All afternoon there will be a number of bands performing leading up to the highlights of the festival, John Conlee. Looking through “Rose Colored Glasses” and Stoney LaRue. Conlee will be performing, on Saturday, from 9pm -10:30pm. And Stoney LaRue will start things up at 11:00pm.

This year’s raffle features a Fender Squire Special Edition Telecaster guitar.
