Galveston Historic Homes Tour – May 2-4 & May 8–11 – Galveston

34 years and still going strong, the Galveston Historic Homes Tour, hosted by the Galveston Historical Foundation is one of the islands most popular events and this year it’s even bigger and better than before.

Both weekends include two full days, where visitors may stroll through selected homes, at their leisure, while learning about Galveston’s history and the people that once lived there.

Special events this year include an evening preview event, First Impression on Friday, May 2. And Saturday, May 3, you’ll enjoy the gala atmosphere of the Moonlight and Martinis Party which will be held in the Top Gallant Room in the restored 1872 League Building.

The second weekend starts off with a motor coach tour of historic Galveston on Thursday, May 8. This special tour will be hosted by Dwayne Jones, the Executive Director of the Galveston Historical Foundation. Then on Sunday, May 11, for Mother’s Day, a very special brunch and fashion show will be held at the beautiful Garten Verein.
