Blessing of the Fleet – Sunday, May 4 – Clear Lake Area

The 40th annual Blessing of the Fleet will be held on Sunday, May 4. Nearly 100 shrimp boats, fishing boats and pleasure boats will gracefully float past the Kemah Boardwalk. As each vessel passes the boat, captain and crew will be blessed by both a priest and a pastor for a safe and successful season.

Approximately 3000 spectators will line the Kemah boardwalk and the surrounding Clear Lake shoreline to watch the decorated boats parade by.
