The Golden Age of Ornithology and Printmaking – March 15 – May 30 - Galveston

In conjunction with the 2008 Featherfest celebration, the Galveston County Historical Museum, will host a reception on March 15, to introduce The Golden Age of Ornithology and Printmaking. This exhibit will be on display at the museum until May 30 and will feature works from the late18th and early 19th centuries. Depictions of birds by Mark Catesby, Alexander Wilson and John James Audubon will be featured along with prints by Robert Havell and W.H. Lizars.
