LEADERSHIP
LEAGUE CITY
All flourishing communities have effective leadership. With this in mind,
Leadership League City was founded to offer current and future League City
leaders with an opportunity to:
• network with key local leaders and other community and business minded
decision makers in League City;
• gain a working knowledge of League City and the private businesses, public
agencies, nonprofit organizations, and government entities that drive our
community;
• understand the opportunities, challenges, and issues facing League City;
and
• become a more effective leader and assume leadership roles in League City.
Admission Guidelines
Each year, only 20 individuals are selected to participate in Leadership
League City. The following rules apply:
• Live or work in League City
• Provide two references
• Agree not to miss more than two scheduled meetings
• No more than two participants from any one organization Registration
To register, please complete the application and return to the League City
Chamber of Commerce.
Leadership League City class will consist of no more than 20 applicants. The
class is chaired by previous graduates of Leadership League City.
Applications are submitted, a selection committee will review them and
select class members. The enrollment fee entitles the participants to local
and out of town transportation, meals, lodging for the weekend retreat and
the Austin trip.
The $650.00 fee for the program must be included with the application.
Deadline for accepting applications is April 18, 2008. Candidates will be
notified of their acceptance into the program by the end of April.
Liability Release: By submitting an application for Leadership League City,
the applicant releases the League City Chamber of Commerce and their agents
from any and all liabilities to applicants, agents and employees that may
arise or be asserted as a result of submission of an application for
participation in the event.
