League City’s new 311 service
by Kristi Wyatt
League City citizens now have a new, easy, way to get information fast. All
they have to do is call the City’s new non-emergency phone number. You can
make one call to 311 to get all of your questions answered fast. Just dial
311 from your landline telephone.
Here is how it works:
A Call Operator is available between the hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday
through Thursday and 7 a.m. to noon on Friday. When you dial 311 you will be
connected to City Hall and a Call Operator will receive your information.
The information that will be received includes, but is not limited to, your
name, location and a contact number.
What to Expect
What you can expect from 311 is assurance the problem will be fixed in a
timely manner. Once a work order is created, it is sent to the appropriate
department. That department will contact you within one business day. Your
work order is tracked with a conformation number to assure that it is taken
care of in a timely manner.
Feel free to dial 311:
• To report a complaint regarding trash pickup
• To report a streetlight outage
• To inquire about information concerning your monthly utilities
• Any other complaint, problem or comment
Other Ways to get Connected
You can also access 311 online. It is just a click away. E-mail
311@leaguecity.com , or log onto
