  SATURDAY, APRIL 26TH

Joshua Allan Cranfill Benefit / Fundraiser
BRISKET PRE-SALE FORM

Josh is a beautiful energetic 2 year old in League City Texas. On May 16 of 2006, Josh was diagnosed with cancer in the left eye orbital socket. Josh started 48 weeks of chemotherapy on May 28, 2006. This necessitated a huge expenditure of time, energy, and expenses by his loving parents, Allan and Kara Cranfill. During this initial time of chemo, other evaluations confirmed that the cancer had not spread to any other parts of Josh’s little body and that the cancer was shrinking. Unfortunately on July 6, 2007, it was confirmed that the Rhabdo cancer had returned. Little Joshy had to endure very unique proton radiation therapy at MD Anderson hospital for five (5) weeks and then another series of chemo that he is still receiving today at UTMB for an undetermined amount of time.

This experience has been very time consuming, emotionally and physically draining, and expensive to the Cranfill family. Even with insurance, not all the medical costs are covered. In addition, the expenses of driving, parking, eating, and staying near the hospital for almost two years are significant.

Alan Cranfill is a member of the League City Fire Department. Being a firefighter, Alan is a part of an enormous, world wide family that cares for its members immensely. Members of the LCFD are hosting this BBQ fundraiser to benefit the Cranfill’s. LCFD members will be cooking briskets for pre-sale and plate lunches the day of the event.

If you are interested in purchasing a pre-cooked, one of a kind, award-winning (seriously) brisket, please contact one of the members below. The cost for each brisket is $40 and must be paid in advance. We will be taking orders until April 21st. We will accept Cash, Checks (payable to CRANFILL BENEFIT), and if you would like to pay with credit card, you can pay via PayPal to Rick Owens (contact info below). If you chose the PayPal option, the price per brisket is $42 (to cover the PayPal fees).

The briskets MUST be picked up by you on SATURDAY, APRIL 26TH at Fire Station #2 on Hobbs Road in League City from Noon-8pm.
