League City Chamber to host Candidates Forum April 21, 2008
The League City Chamber of Commerce will host a “Meet the Candidates” forum
on Monday, April 21 at 6 pm in the Council Chambers at League City City
Hall. Candidates running for League City Mayor and Positions 1 and 2 on the
League City City Council have been invited to participate in the forum. The
purpose of the forum is to give voters in League City an opportunity to hear
from candidates on issues impacting the community.
The event sponsors are AMOCO Federal Credit Union, Bob Douglas, RE/MAX
Associates, Sam Boyd Development and Texas-New Mexico Power Company. The
chamber’s Legislative Affairs Committee invites the public to attend the
forum or tune into the live broadcast on League City’s Municipal Channel 16.
Chamber members are invited to submit questions for consideration to the
candidates by e-mail to
info@leaguecitychamber.com by April 14, 2008.
