Strawberry Festival – May 16 – 18, Friday – Sunday -
Pasadena
Pasadena once held the title as the Strawberry Capitol of the South. Now we can
brag on having the largest strawberry cake in the world. On Friday, May 16, at
5pm, the 2008 Strawberry Festival will officially open for a weekend of live
entertainment, mud volleyball championships, carnival rides, and of course
crates of strawberries. But wait…there is an entire week’s worth of activities
as a lead up to the festival. These pre-events include a motorcycle ride, beauty
pageant and parades.
