When I read the first part it looked like the VTR is trying to do the right thing and save some Tax Payer money. League City Receives Check

The City of League City and its staff have been recognized by the Texas Municipal League for the outstanding job they have done in keeping worker's compensation claims, property and liability claims to a minimum. Because of this due diligence the City received an equity return check from Texas Municipal League in the amount of $71,681. “Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams” is a charity dinner cruise benefitting the Jeanette Williams Foundation for Children’s Cancer Research. The fundraiser, to be held Sunday, April 27, from 4 to 7 p.m., consists of a silent auction, dinner, and dancing on a beautiful three hour cruise aboard the brand new 117 ft. custom built yacht at FantaSea Yacht Charters in South Shore Harbour Resort.
