AMOCO Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, cooperative financial institution that is owned and operated by its members. Since being first chartered in 1937, the credit union has grown from $28,000 in assets and 169 members to more than $450 Million in assets and approximately 54,000 members.

Today, AMOCO includes a diversified membership that includes more than 200 local sponsor companies and organizations and 54,000 members located throughout the country. Recognized as one of the largest credit unions in the Houston/Galveston area, AMOCO continues to grow in large part to the satisfaction and loyalty of members and the commitment of our volunteers and staff.
